NaPoWriMo 2018 #Day7 ; My Journey

Today’s prompt, write a poem that list all the different layers of your identity. For me am going to write about my four layers of identity. I hope before you finish it you can tell, which ones they are..

My Journey

I love reading different things, this

inspired me to start writing, at first

i didn’t take it seriously, but now

without it, i can’t live entirely.

Am extremely grateful, for this skill became helpful,

Especially when i attend my classes,

I can research and write great essays, now i

hope it will help me pass my thesis.

My pen and paper know me well,

Through the experiences, i make them tell,

This made me absolutely liberated, I became

a poet and never looked back.

I taught this skills to my siblings, they

loved me, for what i did, Surely this

was a great deed indeed, I showed

them a path they can follow, to see they

dream come to reality.

I hope you enjoyed it. If you didn’t know or you got confused in between. My four identities are : writer, student, poet and a daughter… At first i didn’t know how to blend them without confusing you… But voila, I tried… πŸ’•
